There is a time for everything. There are set times in your life you have certain people there, and when you don’t. There are life long friends and friends you have for only a season. There are times to be serious, times to be silly, times to be happy, times to be sad and times to reflect on all of these. There is beauty not in the chaos of life but in what remains, after the heart and soul have been burned and broken. The fire that burns you and causes you to rise like a phoenix, or the pressure that gets rid of all the cold, dirty darkness and creates a shiny new diamond of a person. You’ve heard before time heals all wounds. Time also creates deeper holes in us. Waiting can make a person go mad. An inpatient heart is a fools treasure. Time is not given to us to be running around with it like a white rabbit late for tea. Time is given to us so we experience each season, hear each laugh, cry each tear, smile every smile, write every word, sigh every sigh. There is a time for everything. You may not have time for a person in your life, or an activity or hobby you enjoy. You may feel stuck working your shifts, over and over again. You may have even cursed time, begged it to come and allow you to see someone again. You’ve heard Time waits for no man. But will you? Will you wait? Will you live each day? Will you allow time to create wounds, heal them and create in you a deeper love, a stronger heart, an advanced perspective. Will you make time to reflect on all of this? Will you let yourself go mad waiting and chose to enjoy it? There is beauty to be found in the broken and burned pieces. Appreciate your time, but don’t resist all of what time can make you, all of what time can show you. Appreciate the bad and the good , because that’s what has made you who you are.
Much love from Wonderland XOXO, TM
